Global IT Director

Main Role:
  • Maintain IT operational excellence to support Laurastar in fulfilling its objectives
  • Improve Laurastar’s IT strategy based on future technology trends, and internal department and user needs
  • Manage and oversee all IT operations at Laurastar
  • Create conditions for your IT team, to work together with internal departments, and external companies to manage day to day IT operations and implement projects
  • Communicate and cooperate with other department responsible, system users and other key stakeholders
Main activities:
  • Lead and develop the IT team members both onsite and remote
  • Review, manage and improve key IT KPIs to improve user satisfaction level
  • Ensure that IT systems (ERP and existing IT platforms and services) will operate smoothly and provide excellent uptime and response times, and provide solutions to internal and external customers' needs
  • Lead key IT projects together with other departments and external companies.
  • Put in place effective security procedures and infrastructure to protect and minimize risks to security and protect Laurastar assets
  • Analyze technology trends to propose new or improved IT solutions to drive digital transformation
  • Manage the purchase of efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software with cost-efficient contracts
  • Create and control yearly budget and report monthly on expenditure
  • Build strong relationships with external vendors and other key partners
Technical Competencies:
  • Proven knowledge in ERP software, IT infrastructure, data security, cloud technologies and IT automation
  • Proven track record in IT project management and digital transformation
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS and Salesforce or other similar software is a plus
  • Ability to work, write and negotiate in French and English
Personality / Soft Skills :
  • Work philosophy in line with Laurastar's DNA and behavioral principles
  • Strong people manager skills within a multicultural and multigeneration environment with excellent communication skills
  • Result-oriented, innovative, and agile mindset with ability to resolve issues and meet project deadline
  • Excellent analytical skills and quick understanding of complex business processes
Experience required :
  • At least 5 to 10 years of experience in a comparable role
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences and/or Business Administration & MBI or equivalent
  • Any other IT certifications are welcome
